The original Hooklinks illustrations were Black and White line art, providing the likes of top publishers Anness, Boxtree, Crowood and EMAP and authors of the calibre of John Wilson, Bob Nudd with the power to get across the detail of how they fish.Recognising the developing publishing market for full colour illustration, Hooklinks has been continually developing its facilities to supply a product to match the needs of its target market. This had taken the artwork off the drawing board and into the world of computer generated images. This has the immediate advantage of providing a very efficient way to create and supply finished artwork. No longer is there the added cost and inconvenience for any publisher of having to scan and colour correct line and brush artwork! All the images supplied by Hooklinks are supplied print or screen ready, colour correct for the job in hand.... 'Hooklinks illustrations, they look almost real and make you want to touch the content to see if it is!' To meet the needs of bringing a fresh style to my illustrations for EMAP Actives Improve Your Coarse Fishing magazine when it updated in 2005, I took the step of trying to give the readers the feel that they were actually in the swim with the fish and their tackle. I think it has succeeded Hopefully through the image here and those that will be on view across the various pages of the web site you can get a feel for my style. If I have succeeded in making you feel you want to touch the tackle, you might like to consider using such material to enhance your publications at some point in the future. Further you might like to consider using these through the extended services I now offer of Graphic Design and Web Design! Reason to use Hooklinks
If you have need for colour, black and white or any specialised colour images, then Hooklinks will be probably able to help. Whether for print or web. |
